At Clackriach Highland Cattle, we are a family-owned farm dedicated to breeding Pedigree Highland Cattle alongside our Pedigree Coloured Ryeland Sheep.

At Clackriach Highland Cattle, we are a family-owned farm dedicated to breeding Pedigree Highland Cattle alongside our Pedigree Coloured Ryeland Sheep.
Our Highland cattle journey began over 10 years ago with the purchase of our very first pedigree heifer at the Highland Cattle Society Show & Sale in Oban. From that single animal, our fold has grown to more than 40 pedigree Highland cattle. Alongside our pedigree breeding programme, we also rear selected Highland cattle for premium-quality beef. Our beef is available through private sales and supplied to butchers, ensuring customers can enjoy delicious, naturally reared Highland beef with complete confidence in its origin .
As a small farm, we take great pride in the welfare of our animals and in producing livestock and beef while preserving the heritage and character of these iconic Scottish breeds.

At Clackriach Highland Cattle, our Highlands are part of the family, and we love sharing them with others. Throughout the summer, you'll often find us at local agricultural shows, where our cattle enjoy meeting visitors of all ages. It's a wonderful opportunity to see these gentle animals up close and learn more about the breed.
